Thai2English now translates whole sentences — both ways
Plus definitions in the order you want them, smarter transliteration search, and examples matched to the exact meaning.

Hello there สวัสดีครับ! After a long time, I've finally been able to make significant updates to thai2english recently. Here's what's changed so far this month, and why I hope you'll like it.
Full automatic Thai to English and English to Thai translation
Every query entered now gets a full translation too, in addition to the word-by-word breakdown. You can use them both in combination to see how Thai sentences are constructed, and how the overall translation compares to literal word-by-word one.
Definitions in the order you want them
Word pages now lead with the meaning you're most likely after, so the most common ones are right there at the top. The English > Thai dictionary now displays a short one-line summary of which English meaning the translations are for so you can scan a long entry in seconds, and thousands more words now have a clear meaning to show you.
Transliteration search that works whatever you use
Type it however it sounds. The transliteration/romanization search now understands the many ways a word gets spelled, so sà-wàt-dee, sawatdee and mai dai would all find the word you're looking for.
Cleaner, more relevant examples
Example sentences are now tied to the exact meaning they illustrate, so they match the particular sense you're actually reading about. Look at ผม for example, and you'll see different example sentences for both I; me and hair.
I've also updated thousands of the example sentences to be more relevant and useful ones.
I've also tidied up, clarified and improved many meanings throughout the dictionary. It's all still free to use.
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated! Without your support, I really would not have been able to keep it going.
I read every reply, so please do let me (mikethai2english.com) know any feedback, any ideas or feature requests, or if you've spotted something I should fix.
